Search the Fitness Classes timetable for full details of our latest classes. These are free to Fitness members or you can pay per session. All-inclusive or corporate fitness membership gives you access to free classes at any time. If you have Off-peak or Your Link4Life Extra fitness membership then classes are free Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and any time at weekends.
Classes are organised into four categories – Cardio, Conditioning, Holistic and Dance – to help you build up a varied fitness programme you can search on these categories. You can also search for Yoga, Spinning, etc – and narrow your search by centre or time. You’ll find a description of the classes and information about how to book by clicking on the + sign in the timetable.
We recommend that classes are booked in advance because places are limited. Don’t forget – if you are a fitness member then fitness classes can be booked online – to set you up we just need your email address and membership number. Make sure you are registered – speak to your Fitness Co-ordinator next time you are in the gym.

Aqua Fitness sessions tend to provide a gentler exercise option with the buoyancy of the water providing extra support. There are different intensities of class in the pool, as with any fitness class. If you are looking for a high intensity workout that burns fat and tones then choose Water Works. Aqua Aerobics is a classic low impact exercise session and there is also a Deep Water Workout option designed as a non-weight bearing class that is also great for rehab after injury. You can find these sessions using the Fitness Classes timetable.
Aqua Fitness classes are included within fitness membership and are free. You can also pay per session with daytime sessions often providing an additional discount for Your Link4Life Extra Card members. For price details visit the relevant Centre – there are pools at Middleton Arena, Heywood Sports Village and Rochdale Leisure Centre.
