Hollingworth Lake Water Activity Centre

Since 1989 Hollingworth Lake Water Activity Centre has offered quality tuition in outdoor activities. This provision has been available to schools, youth groups and the general public, continuing the proud tradition of water based activities on Hollingworth Lake including sailing, kayaking, canoeing, powerboating and windsurfing as well as outdoor activities including rock climbing and mountain biking. A £300,000 extension to the centre in 2010 doubled the size of the facilities available.

Hollingworth Lake is a 130 acre reservoir in the Hollingworth area of Littleborough - part of the Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale.

We continue to develop the number and variety of courses and activities that we have on offer in order to meet the demands of our ever increasing customer base and to ensure that we have the right activities to fulfil all of our customers’ requirements.

What really matters to us is providing a quality experience to you or your group, helping you to make the most of your time spent with us. Our team of qualified, experienced and enthusiastic staff will ensure that all of your needs are met, and your expectations exceeded. We ensure that our quality of instruction remains high through regular staff training sessions and through actively encouraging all of our staff team to seek out appropriate personal and professional development opportunities.
