- Category: Middleton Arena
Middleton Arena opened to the public in January 2009. This £15 million new centre, with its award-winning design, swiftly became an iconic building within the town and one that has shown how high quality sports and leisure facilities can greatly increase levels of participation. At the heart of the centre is the 500 seat auditorium which provides a fully functioning theatre and music and conference centre with licensed bars and cafe. A four-court sports hall, swimming pools, squash courts and extensive fitness facilities complete the centre.
