Comic Chris has Middleton Arena valentines ‘date’

Stand up comedian Chris Addison will visit the Middleton Arena next year during a 35 date national tour.

At last! Mr. Chris Addison off Bafta award winning comedy ‘The Thick of It’, ‘In The Loop’, ‘Live at the Apollo’, ‘Skins’ and his own 5 live show ‘7 day Sunday’ is back with a brand new show of his critically acclaimed stand-up. Daftness! Whimsy! Jokes! Lies! Smartarsery! Flapping about! All present and correct, and live on stage at the arena for Valentine's Day.

The star of BBC2s BAFTA winning comedy ‘The Thick of It’ and hit feature film ‘In the Loop’ will be returning to the road with his new live show.

Chris is also familiar to TV audiences from appearances on shows like ‘Have I Got News For You’ (BBC1), ‘Tonight with Jonathan Ross’ (BBC1), ‘8 out of 10 cats’ and from his own BBC2 sitcom ‘Lab Rats’.

Addison, widely regarded as one of the most versatile stand-ups in the country will visit the Middleton Arena on Sunday 14 February 2010.

As a live performer he has taken five solo shows to the Edinburgh Fringe. His radio credits include the Sony Award winning ‘The Ape That Got Lucky’, Charm Offensive, Political Animal, and The Department (BBC Radio 4). Born in Manchester, he won the City Life Comedian of the Year Award back in 1995.

With his pacy, energetic routines and slick delivery, Chris has charmed audiences, Perrier judges (who nominated him twice) and critics alike as a fine purveyor of daftness and jokes!
