Nominations for Greater Manchester Sports Awards have now opened. The Greater Manchester Sports Awards involve all ten boroughs in Greater Manchester, with each borough running their own Awards ceremony where winners go on to represent their borough across six categories at the Greater Manchester Sports Awards.
The six categories are:-
- Coach of the Year
- Unsung Hero
- Volunteer of the year
- Sports Achiever of the Year
- Disabled Sports Achiever of the Year
- Club of the Year
Rochdale Borough also has three additional local categories:
- School of the Year
- Rochdale Borough Township Award for Sport
- Leadership Academy Award
Closing date for Rochdale Borough nominations is Friday 30 April 2010.
Date of Rochdale Awards Friday 9 July 2010.
