About Link4Life Sport & Leisure
Sport & Leisure services provide opportunities for public participation in sport, physical activities and leisure pursuits through the management of sports facilities and the delivery of outreach activity programmes.
Management of sports and leisure facilities includes Middleton Arena, Bowlee Park Sports Centre (formerly Furrow Sports Centre), Heywood Sports Village, Marland Golf Course, Rochdale’s Central Leisure Centre, Kingsway Park Sports Centre & Athletics Arena (formerly Springhill Sports Centre), Littleborough Sports Centre and Hollingworth Lake Water Activity Centre.
The service also works to develop new facilities in the borough ensuring they are fit for purpose and available for the local community.
The Sports Development service provides strategic co-ordination for sport in the Borough helping to support and develop community based voluntary sports clubs and links with schools.
Online bookings will initially be available to book the Sports Hall, Squash Courts, Football Pitches and Fitness Classes at Middleton Arena and Heywood Sports Village for members only.
