Play for Today
From the Rochdale Observer, 10th April, 1974:
Angela Murphy, Doctor, left, attends to Stephen Crocker, Slasher, watched by other Pace Egg players at the Easter evening in Redbrook Middle School. More than 150 people attended the evening, which consisted of a choir recital, the Pace Egg and a display of brass band music. The choir sang traditional religious songs, conducted by teachers, Mrs L. Aspinall and Mrs I Purdy. The Redbrook Brass Band performed a varied programme of popular band music and recent 'pop' chart successes. The Pace Egg with a cast of about 50 pupils, organised by Mr B. Cooper, was highlight of the evening.
