Touchstones Rochdale is a great place to visit with something for all ages - and ideal for families with hands on activities in a child-friendly environment. Entry is free and it is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-5pm.
Here you’ll find - all under one roof - the Art Gallery, Museum, Local Studies Centre, Visitor Information Centre and Shop.
Café Life, run by Pure Innovations, is open Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm with food served from 11am.

Friends of Rochdale Art Gallery
For many years the Friends have been helping the Art Gallery to conserve and acquire paintings for the Collection. Talks by invited speakers about historic and contemporary art and craft are held most months with the occasional trip to visit other art collections. For further information click here.

Art4Families Saturday Club invites children and their adult companions to explore Touchstones Rochdale's exhibitions and participate together in collaborative hands-on art & craft making activities led by trained artists and staff. Projects are suitable for a wide variety of abilities and designed specifically for those aged 5-12 years old.
